Connecting a store puts its 3D products, viewer analytics, storage, settings and plan in your web dashboard, next to your standalone tools.
The store needs The RenderX app installed from the Shopify App Store first.
Connect a store
The quickest way: in your Shopify admin, open Apps → The RenderX and click Open web dashboard. You'll be asked to sign in if you aren't, then Shopify asks you to approve. Nothing to type.
Or, from the dashboard:
- Click Connect a store (on the home page or in the menu).
- Enter your store's
myshopify.comaddress, or just its first part. - Shopify asks you to approve. This proves you're staff of the store. We don't keep Shopify's login token.
The store then shows on your dashboard's home page and in the menu. Click it to open its pages; Back to my account returns to your dashboard.
Several staff can connect the same store, each with their own account. You can connect several stores to one account.
Disconnect a store
Account → Connected stores → Disconnect. The app stays installed on the store, and nothing on your storefront changes.
Billing
A connected store is billed by Shopify, through its plan in the app. Accounts with a connected store don't buy standalone plans.
