Terms of service

Last updated: 24 October 2026

Draft: this page has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet and may change before launch.

These terms apply to the RenderX 3D Jewelry Viewer app for Shopify ("the app") and this website, provided by Visibrix, Test address ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to them on behalf of your business. If you don't agree, please don't install it.

1. The service

The app converts Rhino .3dm files you provide into a 3D display model and pictures, places them in your Shopify Files, and shows an interactive 3D viewer on your product pages through a Shopify theme app extension. It also provides analytics about the viewer, a web dashboard and support.

We may improve and change the service. We won't remove a core feature of a paid plan during a billing period you've paid for without telling you in advance.

2. Your account

You use the app through your Shopify store. You must be authorised to install apps on that store and to accept these terms for the business. You're responsible for who has access to your Shopify admin and our web dashboard.

3. Plans, trials and billing

  • Plans, prices and limits are shown on our pricing page and in the app.
  • All charges are made by Shopify, through Shopify's managed pricing, and appear on your Shopify bill. Shopify's terms apply to the charges, trials and refunds.
  • Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial.
  • Each plan allows a number of products with 3D. When you reach it, existing 3D products keep working and new ones are blocked until you upgrade.
  • If you downgrade, the newest products over the new limit are hidden from your store until you upgrade or remove others. Their files are kept.
  • The Free plan shows a small "3D by The RenderX" link under the viewer.

4. Your content

Your designs remain yours. You keep all rights in the .3dm files, links, product data and other content you provide ("your content").

You give us a limited licence to process your content only to provide the app to you: to convert it, to store it where you've chosen (see Where is my design file?), to place the results in your Shopify Files, and to show them in your viewer. We never use your designs for anything else, never show them to other merchants, and never sell or share them. The licence ends when the content is deleted.

You confirm you have the right to use your content this way, and that it doesn't infringe anyone's rights or break the law.

What shoppers receive. To display 3D, shoppers' browsers download the display model and pictures, as with every web 3D viewer. We take reasonable steps (a display-only mesh, no Rhino file), but we can't prevent someone from copying what their browser receives.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the app to upload unlawful content or content you don't have rights to, to attack or overload the service, to probe the link fetcher for other systems, to reverse engineer the service except where the law allows it, or to resell it without our agreement.

We may suspend access that puts the service or other merchants at risk, and we'll tell you why.

6. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what we store. Our data processing addendum applies to personal data we process for you, and forms part of these terms.

7. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. The 3D files shown to shoppers are served by Shopify's CDN, so stores keep showing 3D even if our servers are briefly unavailable. Current status is on our status page. Support is by contact form or email; Pro plans get priority.

8. Uninstalling and termination

You can uninstall at any time. What happens to your data is described in Uninstalling and our privacy policy. We may end these terms with 30 days' notice, or straight away if you seriously breach them. Sections 4 (ownership), 9, 10 and 12 survive.

9. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. The 3D display is a visual representation: colours, materials and proportions may differ from the physical piece, and you remain responsible for your product descriptions.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid for the app in those 12 months. Nothing limits liability that can't be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and tell you about material changes by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept them.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of India, and its courts have jurisdiction, without depriving you of protection that mandatory law where you are gives you.
